Meet The Epic Productions Team
Graphic Designer & Associate Art Director – Danny
Get to know Epic’s talented Graphic Designer, Danny! A steak devotee, travel junkie, and fitness enthusiast who is a man of many talents. Web designer, animation professional, and graphic designer; he covers all bases.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I can shoot a basketball with either my right or left hand and box in orthodox or southpaw stances, although I’m mostly right-handed.
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
After much debate and Googling, I’m picking Telekinesis. It’s kind of like all powers rolled up into one, really.
What is your most memorable project while working at Epic?
Probably the Green Card Fund website. The entire workflow we developed around that project was literally brand new and a bit pioneering.
Tell us about your artistic style.
I’d say most of my recent work has been a clean, 2D / Vector style. I prefer to have things very detailed and or very stylish (difficult to describe without a visual example here), but I rarely get the time or resources needed to accomplish projects in this kind of style. They’re usually very creatively demanding projects and requires trial and error, sometimes for long periods of time, as well as a lot of layers to establish a final look.
If you didn’t work in animation, what would you do?
I’d probably either be writing or involved in business or entrepreneurship.
If you had to choose one food item to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is tough because I like a lot of foods equally. Assuming I could live healthily on it and could change the inside ingredients when bored, I’d pick sandwiches.
Favorite thing about working at Epic?
The flexibility in almost all aspects of working here, for sure. That and the alcohol allowed birthday lunches.
