Learn more about our Director of Operations, Emily, below!
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Following the journey of a project from concept to completion is so rewarding and exciting for me! I work very closely with our clients, from the kick-off meeting to delivering the final product, so it’s really special to be able to guide them through the video production process and show them what Epic is all about. It’s a great feeling to see our creative ideas come to life and help our clients tell their stories and achieve their goals.
Favorite project while working at Epic?
It would have to be the time we all packed up and went on a road trip to Los Angeles to shoot for one of our clients, Arizona Federal. It was awesome to spend a few days in DTLA, working with local vendors and talent, exploring the city, all while expanding our stomping grounds! Definitely a trip I will never forget. Check out the BTS video!
If you weren’t a Director of Operations, what would you be?
Event planning has always been a passion of mine. I’m obsessed with details and making memorable experiences.
Favorite thing about working at Epic?
My favorite thing about Epic would have to be our culture. I’m so grateful to do what I love with people that I adore and always have a great time with. I’ve never worked somewhere that really feels like a family like Epic does. We’re a diverse and talented team that is passionate about what we do and most importantly, we have so much fun doing it.
What shows are you into?
I’m a sucker for reality TV, so anything on Bravo! I’d say my all-time favorite shows that I could watch over and over again are Mad Men, The Hills, 30 Rock, Sex and the City, and Girls.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I HAVE to stay in one of those over-water bungalows with glass floors in The Maldives or Bora Bora!
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I was born in Cairo, Egypt and I lived in Dhaka, Bangladesh for 3 years. My Dad worked for the United Nations so I was lucky enough to spend the first 10 years of my life traveling the world. I’ve visited over 20 countries!
